NAEPC Webinar: Complimentary: Beyond the Documents: Navigating Family Dynamics that Shape the Plan
Estate planning decisions are shaped as much by family relationships as by legal and financial structures. Advisors often work with families during periods of transition, when emotions, shifting roles, and prior experiences can influence perspective and behavior. In these moments, unspoken expectations, differing priorities, and longstanding relational patterns often shape how families approach planning and decision-making.
Participants will gain practical strategies to manage complex interactions, maintain professional clarity, and guide families toward thoughtful, durable planning outcomes while preserving advisor neutrality and effectiveness.
This session will be led by Arden O’Connor, a nationally recognized expert on the intersection of behavioral health and wealth management, and Diana Clark, JD, MA, President of Intent Clinical and a nationally recognized expert in family systems, behavioral health, and family dynamics.Together, they bring decades of experience advising families, family offices, and wealth advisors on navigating complex family dynamics, strengthening communication, and supporting
sustainable, long-term outcomes.
